Calling all card makers!

Do you make cards or bookmarks?
We are looking for hand-made cards to
be used at VOM conferences.
Do you enjoy making cards? We are looking for hand-made cards that can be used at VOM conferences for attendees to write encouraging notes to prisoners of faith.

Be creative! Get your kids, Sunday school class, or VBS involved. Organize a card-making event with your church members or with friends and family.

We will also gladly accept hand-made bookmarks.

Simply drop off or mail your blank hand-made cards to our office (click here for contact information). Please be sure to include a note with the cards stating the first name(s) of those who created the cards or bookmarks and the city where you live.

We look forward to seeing the creativity of our blog readers!

  1. I am coordinating a box! Just curious...how many cards would you need for one conference?

  2. Hello, Kara! So glad to hear that you are coordinating a box of cards! We look forward to receiving them. We are hoping to use the cards we receive at a Women’s Conference coming up in New Brunswick in September (for more information, go here: bit.ly/Nt3mIb). We expect between 70-100 women at the event. If we receive additional hand-made cards, we will certainly use them at other upcoming VOM events. Thank you for your participation in making cards, and God bless!

    1. Awesome. My only other question is it okay to duplicate designs, and if so, how many would be acceptable based on your needs? Blessings back your way! Excited to help :)

    2. Hello! Yes, you can absolutely duplicate designs. You can make as few or as many designs as you’d like. It is really up to you! Since the cards will be filled out by different people in Canada and distributed to various individuals overseas, having a repeated design is just fine. Thanks for asking! If you have any other questions or comments, please just let us know. Thanks again, and have a blessed day :).

  3. One more question :)Is there anything that would prevent a card from being delivered or present a risk of confiscation? Like metal brads, glitter, etc? When I send cards to a child I sponsor in Kenya, I have to make them very plain so that they make it through customs. Thank you!

    1. Excellent question, Kara. In most cases, the hand-made cards that are filled out by attendees at VOM conferences will be either hand delivered by VOM staff to persecuted Christians or sent directly to our partners working in country. I haven’t heard of any issues with sending hand-made cards overseas in the past from our supporters, but I will ask the staff here and see if they have any further information. Thank you!

  7. I am searching for a place to send my homemade cards, too. I would like to help if you are in need of any more cards. I know this post was from last year but I was wondering if you needed more cards. Thanks and God bless Lynnette
