While driving around Kandhamal to visit different villages and relief camps, I was struck by the splendour of the countryside in contrast to the ugliness of the demolished homes and churches.

Such lovely pics, Erin! They really capture the majesty of the mountains and the vibrance of the vegetation. And that's quite a cute little critter on that last one ;)
ReplyDeleteGood pics. And good contrast between the beauty from God and the ugliness that can come when man responds in hatred and anger. I was wondering earlier what that picture at the top of the blog had to do with the work of VOMC. Now I know a little more. Just a thought; you might want to put a little tag on the photo.
